The Customer Experience & Business Improvement Department is responsible for frontline customer service, the implementation of a Customer Experience (CX) strategy and Banyule Service Promise as well as the development of an organisation wide continuous improvement capability.

This role presents an amazing career opportunity for someone who is passionate about understanding the needs and wants of their customer and designing & improving services across the organisation that exceed customers’ expectations.

As the Customer Experience Strategy Coordinator, you will lead the ongoing implementation of a Council wide Customer Experience (CX) Strategy and provide CX subject matter expertise in support of Council’s vision to build a customer first culture and capability across the organisation.

What we are looking for: 

  • Tertiary qualifications or work experience in a relevant field
  • Extensive experience in developing/implementing CX strategies and initiatives
  • Experience in customer research, analytics & metrics to improve customer service
  • Highly developed written & presentation skills,
  • Strong project management skills  
  • Knowledge of creating personas, customer journey mapping

We can offer:

  • $115,729.00 to $129,343.00 plus super
  • Permanent full time 38 hours per week and a monthly rostered day off
