Team Leader Minor Patching

Moreland City Council is located in the inner northern suburbs of Melbourne and is one of the most populous and culturally diverse municipalities. Located in Coburg, just 8km from the CBD there is excellent public transport and cycling access for employees.

Council is seeking an energetic, motivated and experienced person in the Road Maintenance Unit to lead a Road Maintenance Team undertaking a range of repairs and reinstatements of Council’s infrastructure.

This position will form part of an Asphalt Maintenance Team and will provide on-site leadership and coordination of a crew carrying out maintenance and improvement works in Council's road reserves in a safe, efficient and effective manner. 

The successful candidate will have the ability to interpret plans and operate hand tools and other mechanical equipment associated with road maintenance and strong communication skills.

You must be committed to providing a high standard service, complying with Occupational Health and Safety requirements and be able to demonstrate your reliability and ability to work as part of a team. Must have a current Victorian Drivers License and a minimum Heavy Rigid Truck License.
