ABOUT THE ROLE

As part of Moreland City Council’s in-house Area Maintenance team, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain our Parks and Open Space for all Moreland’s citizens to enjoy. You will specifically maintenance of our Council playgrounds and open space infrastructure in accordance with Council’s Open Space Maintenance Service plans. You will play a key part in ensuring Moreland’s playgrounds are a safe and vibrant space for the public to enjoy.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM THIS ROLE

• Certificate III in Horticulture
• (Desirable) Playground Safety accreditation - AHCPGD206A Conduct visual inspection of park facilities & AHCPGD305A Conduct operational inspection of park facilities or equivalent
• Extensive experience in landscaping and garden maintenance
• The ability to use horticultural machinery
• (Desirable) Familiarity with AS 4685 Playground Equipment and Surfacing
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• A current Victorian Drivers Licence and Medium Rigid Level or equivalent would be highly regarded
