ABOUT THE ROLE

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Works Officer who enjoys working with a dynamic team to manage various Street Cleaning services within the Street Cleaning Unit. 

Ideally, you are someone with experience managing a large team. Your primary role is to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of Response Service operations and programs including, storm-water drainage clean, dump rubbish response, and associated contracts and contractors. You will have strong interpersonal skills and a good grasp Microsoft Windows programs such as word and excel. An understanding of commonly used applications such as Pathways and Content Manager/TRIM is also an advantage.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM THIS ROLE 

  • Demonstrated experience in asset management systems  
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and manage and large team
  • High level of oral and written communication skills
  • Report writing experience & Skills of MS Office
  • High level of oral and written communication skills
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current Full Victorian Driver’s Licence
  • Must be available to work A/H on-call roster
