As a Sweeper Operator some of your day to day duties will include:
• Operate street sweeping vehicles as required in a safe, competent and responsible manner in accordance with the Road Traffic Regulations and Council policy and procedures
• Carrying out all duties efficiently, and in a safe and competent manner without risk to yourself or the community
• Making a significant contribution to the cleanliness and appearance of Our City as a vital member of our Street Cleaning team.
To succeed in this position you will need:
• Experience driving a street sweeper vehicle in a safe and efficient manner. Able to operate a variety of makes and models of street cleaning plan. Hold a current Victorian Medium Rigid (or greater) driver’s license.
• Ability to safely perform a range of physical tasks and duties as directed, in a safe and efficient manner
• Ability and desire to provide support and assistance to team members and positively contribute to the team culture.
