Do you have a current NT electrical licence (or equivalent), extensive post trade experience in the Electrical and/or Instrumentation industry?

The School of Trades (Electrotechnology) provides nationally recognised accredited training to apprentices and trainees, pre-apprentice students as well as the up-skilling of existing workers. Training is delivered in the following disciplines; Electrical, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and Instrumentation.

As a VET Lecturer/Workplace Assessor (Electrotechnology) you are responsible for delivering training whilst working under the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and Vocational Education and Training (VET) Quality Framework and to the competency standards of the Electrotechnology Training Package.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced tradesperson ready to put down the tools or a current Electrotechnology teacher to join a vibrant and dynamic team. To be successful you require, Certificate VI in Training and Assessment, demonstrated understanding of Competency Based Training and Workplace Assessment, and the ability to contribute to the teaching business of the School.
