Human Resources Coordinator – Capcoal Surface Operations

Reporting to the HR Superintendent, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the mine's HR performance targets. You will assist in governing and applying corporate and site HR policies, procedures and systems. This will be achieved through your ability to manage day–to-day HR generalist activities. You will develop and implement HR plans; monitor key performance measures; provide sound advice and customer service to line managers and employees. And of course, you will build collaborative relationships within the HR group and across the mine.

 To be successful in this role, you will possess: 

• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management (or equivalent)
• Experience in a similar site-based Human Resources position
• Understanding of mining legislation and statutory obligations (highly regarded)
• Demonstrated experience dealing with Unions and Employee Representatives
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills

This is a residential based role with a Monday-Friday roster based at Capcoal Surface Operations, Middlemount.
