Your Impact

To ensure we meet our human rights and modern slavery commitments and to coordinate and engage with the business units and functions across Asahi Holdings Australia (AHA) & Asahi Group Holdings (AGH) to deliver our sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Build upon and refine the strategy, solutions, training and implement initiatives/actions in areas required such as ethical/responsible sourcing (SEDEX program), Modern Slavery act, and audit and risk reporting.
  • Measure and analyze progress against Modern Slavery commitments, objectives and performance targets
  • Work closely with stakeholders to help ensure responsible sourcing and compliance outcomes are achieved and reported.
  • Input and draft the annual Modern Slavery Statement
  • Work closely with the Global Procurement Office (GPO) to align Human Rights Program
  • Coordinate to enable development and execution of Sustainability action plans, projects and roadmaps
  • Conduct research and provide insight and subject matter expertise to help deliver recommendations, insights and initiatives.
  • Partner with teams across the business to build sustainability-based programs, content and engagement both internal and external.

About You

You will have extensive knowledge and experience within Modern Slavery and Sustainability in an FMCG or retailer environment.

As aa self-motivated professional, you will combine your excellent verbal and written communication with strong problem solving and analytical skills.

This role requires a strong stakeholder relationship builder with a change agent mindset.
