What you need to know...

  • temporary full time - 76 hours per fortnight
  • a 9 day fortnight
  • location - South Grafton/Townsend
  • full payment of course fees

About the role

We have two vacancies in our Water Cycle team for someone who is interested in a career in the Water Industry. We have one position based out of the Rushforth Road Works Depot and another based from out Townsend Depot in Maclean. As a trainee you will be learning in a hands on capacity all about:

  • Water sampling and Treatment
  • Sewerage Treatment
  • Operations and maintenance of water and sewer reticulation systems.

The traineeship also has a theoretical component with attendance to TAFE a part of your journey towards a Certificate III in the Water Operations Industry.

Other important information

These positions are located at Council's Rushforth Road Works Depot and Townsend Depot, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
