What could you bring to HealthShare NSW? Full Time Temporary position responsible for leadership of the HealthShare NSW Catalogue and Data Management Team and the accurate maintenance of the state catalogue in accordance with national and global standards. $150,131.00 to $168,333.00 per annum.

HealthShare NSW is looking for an experienced leader with extensive knowledge in the procurement field to provide superior management to the Catalogue and Data Management Team.

Above all, we are looking for a demonstrated professional with a record of achievement in the procurement field who has the skills to manage, lead, and optimise our Catalogue and Data Management Team. Does this sound like you?

About the opportunity

You will establish, maintain and implement the NSW Health electronic procurement catalogues, maintain partnerships with the Office of Finance and Service, analyse global procurement markets, and facilitate continous improvement initiatives while leading the catalogue management of HealthShare NSW. Click here to find out more.

This is a Full Time Temporary position graded as a Health Manager Level 5 with a salary of $150,131.00 to $168,333.00 (Excl. 9.5% superannuation).

How to apply

During the application process you will be required to attach your resume and provide answers to the Selection Criteria below. You must ensure your answers make reference to all of the Selection Criteria listed in the Position Description [link removed] prior to submitting your application.

  • Extensive experience and a record of achievement in product catalogue and data management, associated support systems and technologies in a large and complex service environment, including relevant qualifications or equivalent. This includes extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience in unique product identification and description standards, nomenclature and classification systems for health-related product groups.
  • Excellent analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis and reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.
  • Excellent organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise, multi-task, achieve business goals, perform and always work with a customer focused approach.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing key stakeholders and customers to influence and achieve optimal business outcomes.
  • Proven capacity to contribute to and implement strategic initiatives, including the capability to plan, manage change, improve performance and project manage.
  • Capacity and willingness, including current NSW driver's license, to travel to HealthShare NSW business and service locations throughout NSW, which may include overnight stay in regional / remote areas.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing capability of a team, and coaching and advising managers, whilst always fostering a performance based and customer focused work culture.

You will be asked to complete a psychometric assessment (e.g. personality and cognitive abilities assessments) in the recruitment process for this position.
