My client is a fast-growing project development and EPC company based in Melbourne working on solar systems, generation sites and battery storage projects.

Seeking to expand the professional team in Melbourne with an experienced professional who has a passion for technical excellence and also enjoys the challenge of delivering a diverse portfolio of solar energy projects across Australia.

About the role;

• Implement project plans, scope, schedule, budget, and quality constraints.
• Supervise all design & construction related activities, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Develop and update project databases, prepare project-specific reports.
• Review and manage all aspects of design include civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical.
• Assist in project scheduling, cost tracking and quality assurance during the project execution stage.
• Prepare and maintain all project technical and quality documentations.
• Develop and improve all the relevant construction management documentations including but not limited to project specification, HSE and Quality.
• Provide on-time project reporting to the EPC team and external clients.
• Assist Project Manager in preparing budget.
• Collaborate with team members when necessary, to ensure effective communication and results.

About you:

• Relevant Engineering degree (Electrical or Civil)
• Demonstrable experience in the understanding of Solar & BESS project execution
• Proven experience as a Project Engineer to oversee multiple crews and deliver successful projects
• Excellent communication skills and be able to interact with the clients
• Must be able to monitor on site safety, quality, schedule and project budget
