Allstaff Australia are seeking multiple experienced landscape labourers for a North Brisbane Council.
About role:
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience
About role:
- Multiple positions at Burpengay & Arana hills
- 2 month casual contract
- Immediate start
- Assist in landscape maintenance tasks associated with parks, gardens and landscaped areas adjacent to roadways
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the obligations detailed in the Workplace Health & Safety Act & Regulations
- Such other relevant duties as required from time to time which would generally fall within the scope of this position
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in landscape roles
- Demonstrated experience in working with and maintaining parks
- Experience in general Parks Maintenance and Construction
- Experience operating - chainsaws, brush cutters, chippers, blower vacs, mowers & whipper snippers
- Ability to work as an effective team member
- Demonstrated observation, problem solving and communication
- Physical agility and the level of fitness, strength and dexterity to carry out labouring and frequent heavy lifting and bending
Essential qualifications:
- White Card
- AC/DC commercial operator’s licence unrestricted class (desired)
- Medium Rigid (MR) drivers licence Required
- Must pass a National Police Check
