Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Overview:
We are looking for multiple Senior Electrical Engineers to join our client's team on a new project. You will contribute to various project phases, from early-stage conceptual studies to detailed design and execution.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver electrical engineering services that meet company and regulatory standards.
• Manage and support the technical design and verification of electrical engineering deliverables.
• Conduct engineering calculations, produce technical drawings, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
• Participate in project reviews, HAZID/HAZOPs, and Safety in Design workshops.
• Oversee project scope, schedules, and budgets, ensuring efficient coordination with contractors and vendors.
• Provide technical guidance to the team and manage interfaces with installation contractors and the site team.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in electrical engineering, particularly on Australian projects, with a focus on iron ore or similar sectors.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Power Engineering (Australian recognised); CPEng status and Functional Safety Certification preferred.
• Proven experience in HV/LV systems, power distribution, and electrical calculations (e.g., earthing, arc flash, power system studies).
• Site experience in construction, commissioning, and inspections.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage projects and work both independently and as part of a team.
