The opportunity

Our Risk and Emergency Management Team is looking for an analytical, curious and enthusiastic individual to join our Branch as the Incident Response and Security Coordinator. Using your knowledge and interest in all types of incident management, you will be responsible for Icon Water’s incident response framework, protective security framework and processes.

You will be responsible for:

  • developing and continuously improving the incident and protective security frameworks
  • Developing a rapport with all business areas to meet incident KPIs, provide system support and expert technical advice
  • Analysing data to identify root causes and trends, and develop meaningful reports for the business to enhance decision making and improve outcomes
  • Conducting training and awareness on incident response activities
  • undertaking or overseeing workplace incident investigations (including safety, process, quality, environmental, fraud and security incidents)

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • Understanding of incident management (as it relates to safety, process, quality, environment etc) or the ability to quickly learn
  • Experience in data extraction and analysis, using your keen eye for detail
  • The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in in root cause analysis, workplace investigations methodologies or qualification in investigation is desirable, but not essential.
