The Opportunity
Our Customer Delivery Group are looking for an Electrical Engineer who has a passion for working with people, can champion our customer centric philosophy, be a team player in a small professional engineering team and can utilise their engineering skills in a dynamic environment to deliver outcomes and a positive customer experience.

The Embedded Generation Engineer will review a high volume of embedded Generation applications and actively engage with our customers. Your contribution will enable embedded generation installations being integrated into our network.

You will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing and approving technical and customer initiated embedded generation applications
  • Providing advice to customer enquiries in relation to the embedded generation connection process
  • Ensure Evoenergy maintains compliance with regulatory process requirements and timeframes
  • Preparing documentation for assigned projects
  • Providing technical advice and support to customer requests and internal stakeholders
  • Building and nurturing relationships with a variety of stakeholders

We would like you to have:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering specialising in Electrical or Renewable Energy Systems (preferred) however a degree in other Electrical Engineering fields or an Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering is acceptable as a minimum (essential)
  • Exposure to embedded generation in either distribution or customer installation design
  • A willingness to develop a knowledge and understanding of the regulatory environment relating to the electricity distribution industry
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the regulatory environment relating to the electricity distribution industry
  • Exceptional solving problems and communication skills
  • You have a passionate for power and care about driving positive safety behaviour every single day
