About the role
The Assistant Manager Research and Development (R&D) will play a crucial role in fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and the pursuit of excellence in research and development. Maintaining strong relationships with contractors and educational establishments, the role will ensure alignment with ARWA’s objectives, fostering a commitment to unbiased research, safety and technical excellence. The Assistant Manager R&D will continuously expand their knowledge and expertise in relevant areas, by actively contributing to developing and implementing long-term R&D strategies.
Reporting to the Manager Planning and Implementation, the Assistant Manager R&D will lead strategic research projects aimed at exploring possible methodologies and strategies to support the delivery of ARWA’s programs and projects. The role is also responsible for seeking and maintaining key relationships with industry, universities and research organisations to strengthen ARWA’s research outcomes. The role will work collaboratively across all work functions of ARWA to ensure the highest levels of safety, security and sustainability is achieved.
