About the opportunity

The Principal Engineer, Mechanical & Electrical is a subject matter expert role within the project's Engineering team, providing expert technical leadership across all MEP systems, ensuring MEP systems objectives are achieved for The Suburban Rail Loop. This role will provide subject matter expertise on LV power, ventilation, fire detection and suppression systems. Working closely within a multi-disciplinary team environment, the Principal Engineer, MEP will be the primary source of specialist technical MEP related advice. Working with multiple stakeholders, this role will consult with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders influencing key project decisions.

 You will be a highly focused and driven person who is passionate about contributing to the delivery of public infrastructure, working within a high-performing project team to drive exceptional outcomes. You will be a qualified mechanical or electrical engineer or qualified in a similar discipline with experience working within large projects. You will enjoy a fast paced, performance focused workplace where you will have the opportunity to work autonomously and develop your career.
