About the role:

An opportunity has recently arisen for an experienced Health, Safety & Environment Group Manager to provide strategic & operational leadership across the whole of business to ensure continuous development of a strong Health, Safety and Environment culture.

Idemitsu Australia Resources is a leader & believer in best practice across Health, Safety & Environment and is looking for a collaborative manager who can further build upon the solid foundations already in place.

Skills & experience required:

• Tertiary qualifications in health & safety or related field
• Significant professional experience managing HSE practices and influencing best practice in this area
• WHS Investigations experience, ideally in the coal industry however open to other commodities as well
• Formal Health, Safety & Environment investigation qualifications
• Formal auditing qualifications with a focus on Health, Safety & Environment
• Experience managing environmental practices, ideally with the coal mining industry
• An understanding of key business and industry success drivers
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders within the business and external including government department and industry bodies
